Fanciful Fall

Posted on September 02, 2016

Dear Gardening Friends: The days of crisp mornings have begun and are so welcome. The gardens look great despite those hot, dry days of July and August. The rain has given a fresh look to the garden and we thankfully did not have much of those strong storms some of you experienced. Fall planting is upon us and we will have some beautiful choices of peonies in late September.

In stock are new iris colors, a dark purple, 'Batik' is whimsical and 'Ritsy' a lemon yellow with lavish ruffles. Bill has a new stock of clematis for fall planting and over twenty new hostas, including new cute minis for containers and fairy gardens. The shop celebrates the warm shades of autumn. A great collection of fall wreaths await front doors, crown shaped tin planters hold colorful pumpkins, and mirrored iron shutters reflect the soft glow of birch log candles in a candelabra of iron floral tendrils. Hand painted turkey trays will be perfect for the upcoming holidays and 'Mr. Tom' turkey gives a regal presence by the door. For those of you who give a hoot, our square table holds an array of owls, from stylish stone to a whimsical owl family serving tray that will put a smile on your face.
Looking forward to seeing you in the garden soon! Naturally, Ricki
